Member Benefit
CSC offers dock slips as a CSC member-only benefit. A dinghy is a great way to enjoy the harbor, ocean and beaches. Cohasset Sailing Club offers affordable slips to safely and conveniently dock your dinghy.
This popular option has a waitlist. (Of course!)

Waiting List Procedure
There is a members waiting list for those who continue to support the club year after year and who wish to have a dinghy on the club docks.  
This publicly posted waiting list of members will be maintained by the club and available on the website. It establishes a ranking of slip applicants from which available slips are assigned.
To maintain your place on the waitlist, memberships must be maintained without lapse. You must be a member to hold a spot on the waitlist each year.
As dock slips become available the top position holder on the waiting list will be notified.
Note the date on the WAIT LIST refers to the latest update.  Please allow several weeks after April 30 when the newest updated list will be posted.

Availability and Fee
Slip availability varies from year to year depending upon renewal trends. On average there are just a few spaces that become available. Rental Fee, CSC Membership  and Harbor Fees  are required.

Assignment and Maintenance Procedure
Existing slip renters are able to hold their slips from year to year by maintaining their membership and reapplying with slip rental payment and associated fees each year by registering between April 1 @ 7:00 PM  and April 30 @11:59 PM.
Slip numbers and positions are assigned by the Dock Slip Coordinator. The outside spaces are more user-friendly than are the inner spaces. As a consequence, as outer slips become available, existing slip-renters can be shifted or re-assigned to these favorable locations.
CSC is the sole and final authority in providing a slip, determining space assignments, dock space availability, and by applying or holding a dock space, members agree that all CSC decisions are final. We reserve the right to change the policy at any time and without prior notice.


Dinghy Requirements and Restrictions
Maximum 12` length, 5` 6“ beam. No aluminum. Oversized boats will be removed.
Engines must be kept covered if in the upright position.  If found upright without a cover, the engine will be put in the down position by club staff . 



For those interested in being placed on the dock space waitlist you must be a registered member and pay the annual membership fee to remain on the wait list.
